To insure continuous viability of our organization we will implement the strategic plan entitled, “The M3 Takeover”: Musicianship, Mentorship and Manship. The suffix term -ship can be defined as denoting condition, character, office, or skill. With this strategic plan we can not only win the world to harmony, but become an unwavering source for collegiate chapters and a beacon of progress in our communities.
Musicianship is a characteristic that is vital to every Sinfonian. It is not just music, but the oneness of our musicianship and the harmony of our everyday lives. The Piedmont Triad Area Alumni Association will focus on the development of music in our prospective areas, starting with the school and infecting the community. This objective will provide as a haven for musicians, fashioning musicianship in our local communities
Mentorship is an art form that many would consider honorable and sacred. The goal of the mentoring program is to establish a trusting relationship with accountability and responsibility from the mentor and mentee, be it collegiate or grade school. As men of the highest type we have a social responsibility, to not only uphold the standard of music, but be brothers to the brotherless and the change we are aspiring to see.
Music and service are essential parts of being a Sinfonian, but the betterment of man is the concluding goal, we call this Manship. “We uphold music, not for the sake of music itself, but to uplift our fellow man.”, it is with this mentality that we are the pillars of change in our communities. We must go past the verbs and the nouns, and become the verb and noun. It takes man power, music power, and money power to have effective change. To be an effective Association, we will assume social responsibility. We must tend to man!
With this strategy we will be able to be successful and display continuous viability to our capacity. Being a Sinfonian, musicianship is something we endeavor, however fellowship amongst musicians is rare in our communities. While guiding to musicianship, mentorship is important, we have to groom our next generation and be the positive influence in their lives and we will reciprocate the benefits of someone changing our lives as well. The puzzle will finally be complete when manship is implemented. The consistent display of our fraternal values will be an asset to our area. Through these three branches of outreach, people will recognize, understand and cherish themselves and Sinfonia.
